Pasqualino’s Italian Eatery

Serving Authentic Italian Food at Reasonable Prices

BENVENUTI “Welcome”

by Karen Fetter

Homemade, authentic Italian meals turn customers into “regulars” at Pasqualino’s Italian Eatery. Known for its pastas and pizzas, Pasqualino’s has been given the title of “Best Pizza in Pittsburgh” for several years. Partners and brothers Damiano and Vince Pasqualino are carrying on the family tradition and offer great tasting foods at reasonable prices.

There are three Pasqualino restaurants and one of them is located in North Huntingdon, Westmoreland County. The other two restaurants are in Murrysville and Penn Hills. Penn Hills was the original restaurant, founded in 1971 by Damiano and Vince’s father Frank. The recipes for many menu items were brought over from their family in Italy.

Because the business was so successful, the family decided to open another store in 1996 along William Penn Highway in Murrysville. And then in 2005, another Pasqualino’s restaurant opened in North Huntingdon at 8701, Route 30. As word spread about the delightful food and reasonable prices, this restaurant became a favorite for local lovers of Italian food. A goal for the Pasqualino brothers is to eventually open a location in Greensburg which will feature outside seating.

“Each restaurant uses 60 gallons of sauce a week and 2,000 meatballs,” said Damiano. “We take a great deal of pride in our business. Everything here is homemade and authentic.”

In addition to the pastas and pizzas, there are also homemade soups, and focaccia sandwiches. The menu is always expanding with new items. And you cannot forget about the Pasqualino’s homemade rolls and their famous marinara sauce. The sauce is in such high demand that people can buy it by the quart for $5.25 at the restaurant.

The North Huntingdon location seats about 50-60 people. The restaurant offers catering for graduations, parties, showers, etc. Call 724-864-9600 for more information and pricing.

“Our goal is simple - to provide our customers with hearty portions of our delicious homemade meals at low prices and to maintain high standards in our quality products and services,” said Damiano.
