Angel’s Toy Barn opened
its doors on September 28th of 2003. After a 20
year career in computers, owner Angel Stahl
decided to earn her living in a manner more fun,
playful, and beneficial to children. “My first
idea was to start a Thomas the Tank Engine
website, but as things got underway, I decided
to go further and open a holiday kiosk at
Westmoreland Mall. After looking over the costs,
however, the investment in an actual store
seemed more economical than the kiosk, so I just
took the plunge and went all the way.”
Born in Pittsburgh and having lived in Apollo
and Murrysville, Angel is a lifelong resident of
the area and is dedicated in bringing the
highest quality products to her Westmoreland
County store. Angel is very proud of her staff
and their ability to relate children and advise
interested adults.
“Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway is hot this
year,” said Angel. “We are also starting to
bring in more items for the girls, including
soft-bodied baby dolls and wetting dolls. We now
have Groovy Girls. Designed with an eye for
style, Groovy Girls playmates feature removable
outfits with cool details like hook and loop
closures and a great selection of accessories.
Ryan’s Room is a highly educational line of
interactive doll playhouses. Teachers really
like it.”
