Wild West Winter Women in the Outdoors Getaway

Join the Ligonier Valley & Local #1 Chapters of the National Wild Turkey Federation's Women in the Outdoors for a Wild West Winterfest Weekend Getaway! January 28th – 30th, 2005.

1:00 pm Friday, January 28th, we'll kick-off this spectacular event with a Winter Picnic. Enjoy sled-riding, sleigh rides, demonstrations, bonfires, fabulous food & drink and more.

Friday evening following dinner and a class, the "Mountain Women" from West Virginia entertain you with stories around the campfire--stories that will make you laugh till you cry!

Saturday, you can choose to start your morning with a Yoga/Pilates wake up session in the on-site workout room or just wait to start your day with a hearty winter breakfast. Following breakfast, the classes begin and what a list you have to choose from!

Maybe you would like to learn Cross Country Skiing, Dogsledding, Snowshoeing, Fly-tying, Wood Carving or how about learning to make a dream catcher, knot tying, reloading or self defense? How about learning to get your car "unstuck", winter survival or how to build a complete survival kit for your vehicle? Ladies, these are skills we can use!

Saturday night put on your best western outfit because we "spice-up" the winter chills with a Western Night. You will start-off the evening with a Texas-style dinner, then step into the Old West Saloon for some entertainment by nationally-known "Kromatics Harmonica Trio", then try your hand at some "ropin", learn how to play poker, or how about some good ole tomahawk throwin'?

We'll start Sunday morning nice and easy with more classes and wrap up this unbelievable weekend after lunch.

Come on and join us! What else ya gonna do all winter?
