Since its beginning, The Thorne Group has been a large scale provider of home health services for the Area Agency on Aging and the Pennsylvania Department of Aging. Over 750 patients per year receive some form of home health services or home care from our agency. The Thorne Group’s staff of professionals is experienced in home health care and committed to providing the best care possible. The agency is locally-owned, family-operated and free standing, not part of a chain.

Quality control of the services is The Thorne Group’s most important goal. Located in Greensburg, PA, The Thorne Group is Medicare certified and state licensed. Caregivers are screened with background checks, employment verifications, references, and skills tests. All agency staff is supervised by an administrator, a registered nurse with over 20 years experience in home health care. Services from The Thorne Group are tailored to individual needs with a plan of care designed to optimize mental and physical health and welfare.

Home Health Aide Services are available for specific health care assistance. The staff is certified and experienced in handling the health care needs of those with limited mobility. Services include:
