ParentWISE, Inc. and the Westmoreland County Parks and Recreation Alliance have partnered together to host FATHER FEST
2006, a celebration of the importance of fathers in the family and in the community.
This Father’s Day weekend ParentWISE, Inc. and the members of the Westmoreland County Parks and Recreation Alliance are offering various free and reduced cost activities at local and county parks. Fathers and their children are invited to visit the ParentWISE, Inc. FATHER FEST booth at each park to register for activities and receive a gift.
Dads and kids are then invited to enjoy the day and the planned activities at their favorite park. Also as part of the festivities, ParentWISE, Inc. is compiling a booklet of essays, poems and artwork done by adults and children to celebrate the importance of fathers in their lives. If you would like to submit an essay, letter, poem, or drawing to be used in the booklet please mail it to: ParentWISE, Inc., 409 Coulter Ave. Suite 2, Greensburg PA 15601 by Friday May 19, 2006.
