You know you have the most
beautiful baby in the
county, but do others
realize it? ParentWISE will
give parents of children
born on or after March 18,
2002 the opportunity to have
their baby named a winner in
the “All Babies Are
Beautiful Smile-A-Thon”
photo contest. The contest,
now in its 24th year, will
be staged at Giant Eagle,
Hempfield Square, March
18-20. Photos of all
entrants will be displayed
in the store’s lobby from 4
PM to 8 PM on Friday; 10 AM
to 8 PM on Saturday and 11
AM to 4 PM on Sunday.
The event is NOT a beauty
pageant. Winners are
determined by the amount of
monetary “votes” a child
receives. Each “vote” is a
donation to ParentWISE and
will be used to provide free
programs to parents and
children throughout
Westmoreland County.
Children’s names are NOT
used at the contest. Each
child’s photo is assigned a
number. Parents are
encouraged to collect
“votes” from family, friends
and co-workers to help their
child win. All donations are
placed in jars with numbers
corresponding to the number
of the child’s entry.
Prizes include a $350
Savings Account from
National City Bank,
Greensburg - First Grand
Prize; $250 National City
Savings Account provided by
The Nurturing Place,
Youngwood - Second Grand
Prize; and a $250
personalized Fun Comforter
from Nursery Creations,

Winners in age categories,
male and female, will
receive a $50 Passport
Savings Account from Dollar
Bank, Greensburg. Children
who do not qualify for the
top prizes may win in a
random drawing for gift
certificates and products.
All prizes will be awarded
at a ceremony April 6 at
Giant Eagle, Hempfield
Square.
To enter, parents may submit
a 4” x 6” or 5” x 7” photo
(color or black & white) and
