Cozy Inn Pet Resort got its start in Stahlstown, PA in 1987 as a six room pet resort founded by Carol Boerio-Croft. It has grown into two full service pet resorts that can board approximately 700 pets collectively. According to Ms. Boerio-Croft, “Cozy Inn’s mission is to create and provide a loving, sensitive, healthy, safe naturally controlled environment for the guests; take care of them completely: mentally, emotionally,
medically, spiritually and physically. And to always treat them with love and respect.”

Since Ms. Boerio-Croft began the Cozy Inn, it has been her goal to raise the bar in pet care. “Everyday we continue to develop and evolve. I always think of the pet resort as a work in progress. We just continue to strive to make it better and better for the pets.” Both pet resorts incorporate Feng Shui, the ancient Chinese philosophy and principle of living in harmony with the environment.

The resort relates to the pets through their senses by maximizing positive energy in their surroundings for peace, harmony, and contentment. Skylights, Zen gardens, plants, aromatherapy, positive energy, and pet socialization abound for the delight of the pets.
