Jeannette Physical Therapy, Inc.

Physical therapy is an important treatment for patients with joint pain, disease, or injury.  The profession is concerned with health promotion and prevention of physical disabilities, as well as, rehabilitation of the body after certain surgical procedures.  Conditions treated include sprains, strains, joint replacement, neck and low back pain, as well as, the effects of immobilization after a fracture.

Where can you find these treatments close to home?  Jeannette Physical Therapy, Inc. is located at 1117 Lowry Avenue, Building C in Jeannette, PA.  Serving the Central Westmoreland County Community, Jeannette Physical Therapy, Inc. can not only save you the aggravation of a trip into Pittsburgh, but offer the excellence you deserve, right here at home.

Dennis H. Soles P.T., D.P.T. has recently received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy with advanced clinical training at Chatham University.  Prior to receiving his degree, Dr. Soles practiced as a Physical Therapist with 17 years experience in Geriatric and Orthopedic Rehabilitation.  Eight of those years have been spent right here, serving the people of Westmoreland County.  In fact, Dr. Soles motivation for obtaining his Doctorate of Physical Therapy was in order to better serve our local community.

“Physical Therapists treat injuries and diseases through physical methods, such as heat, light, electricity, ultrasound, exercise, manual procedures,” Dr. Soles explained.  “Physical therapy often helps improve the mobility and function of limbs, conditioning muscles, and helping to restore movement.  But we help to educate our patients too, making them aware of how they can aid in their own recovery and continued wellness.”

In addition to traditional physical therapy, Jeannette Physical Therapy offers advanced treatments, including cervical and lumbar decompression traction, manual therapy and laser light therapy.  Recently, a Massage Therapist was added to the staff to better serve patients’ needs.
