New Art Studio in Fairfield Township

Finally a studio where people of all ages can go to learn how to paint, knit, sculpt papier mache, and so much more.

Studio 711, located at the top of Fairfield Hill in Fairfield Township will open it's doors January 7, 2008 with classes by renowned sculptor, graduate of IUP, Gene Fenton (www.genefenton.com) teaching the art of papier mache to all who would like to learn and understand this unique art form.

Tole painting classes will be taught by our local artist Peggy Cooper at various times through out the week. New to our valley is fiber artist Tony Ritchey who will be teaching knitting with a class for knitters with some experience how to make a felted purse. A beginner knitting class is being scheduled by popular demand.

We are pleased to have Al Just, a Bob Ross certified instructor who will be doing a one-time oil painting class on January 21st from 10 am to 4 pm. This class is already filling and when it does Al will schedule another class. Sign up now for one or all of these classes.
