| Welcome to Twin Springs Farm where the emphasis is on heritage breeds. On our 132 acre farm the primary focus is on Shetland Sheep, a small hardy sheep originally from the Shetland Islands, who produce wonderful soft fleeces for hand spinning. Along with Shetland Sheep, we also raise Black Welsh Mountain Sheep, a small duel purpose breed originally from Wales. Twin Springs Farm is also home to a small herd of White Galloway Cattle as well as Gracie, our Mammoth Jackstock jenny. White Galloways, who originated in Scotland, calve easily and thrive on poor forage in cold wet climates. |
