Don’t be put off by “Geothermal sticker shock.” Think of it
like this: when you use traditional oil, gas, and electric
heating, you are simply burning money, year after year. A modern, efficient gas furnace can be 94% efficient.
Because a geothermal system returns 4+ units of energy from the
earth for every 1 unit used to run the system, it is more than
400% efficient. |

Best of all, you reduce your carbon footprint and contribute to the greening of America. You don’t have to wait 5 to 7 years to experience savings.
When properly financed and Federal tax incentives are accounted for, Geothermal heating and cooling ends up adding a few tens of dollars per month to your mortgage, while potentially saving you hundreds of dollars per month in energy costs.
The "American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009" creates new Federal tax credits for homeowners and businesses who install geothermal heat pump systems. Stimulus Bill Highlights:
Commercial Federal Tax Incentives for Geothermal Heat Pumps. You are eligible if your building is located in the U.S., original use begins with taxpayer, and the system is stalled between 10/3/08 and 12/31/2016.
Residential Federal Tax Incentives for Geothermal Heat Pumps. You are eligible when the home is located in the U.S. (though it need not be your main home). This includes houses, apartments, condos, and mobile homes. The geothermal heat pump chosen must meet Energy Star requirements and be installed between 1/1/2008 and 12/31/2016.
Geothermal Heating & Cooling is being promoted and supported as never before

How much does a Geothermal heating and cooling system cost? Because a GeoExchange system requires drilling on site, and no two sites have exactly the same geology, each installation must be quoted separately. We need to research your property and perform on-site tests, as well as understand your heating and cooling needs, before providing a quote. Our installers will design your system using the latest version of the ACCA Manuel J software by Elite. With this program we can design your system with out guessing or using rules of thumb. Your system will be custom designed for your house with out being over or undersized. You never have to worry about paying for a system that is too big and more expensive or too small and will not do the job.
We would be glad to consult with you on-site about this exciting, energy saving new technology. So please don’t hesitate. Call us today at 724-219-3016 to learn more!
