Care Bear Day Care offers secure, reliable day care for kids aged 6 weeks to 13 years. We offer Preschool on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (ages 3 to 5 years), and a Toddler Program designed to introduce preschool skills to children aged 12 months to 3 years.

Affordable Rates

• $26 per day for Child Care, ages birth to 36 months.
• $23 per day for Child Care, ages 3 and older.
• $120 per month for Preschool Only Program.
• $4 per hour, hourly rate for all children. 
• We Accept CCIS, DPW, and others. 

Preschool Curriculum

The Preschool Program is offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. Our Preschool curriculum is geared for children ages 3 to 5 years.  Classrooms are divided into first year and second year preschool groups.

Preschool activities include a “letter of the week” and “number of the week,” along with the use of learning stations (such as a writing center to practice letters, numbers, and words), a dramatic play area, and a kitchen set. Imaginative play is stressed, including such childhood favorites as “dress up” and “shopping.” There are also planned Math, Science, and Social Skill Concepts.

A math center and science center help bring an important focus to our Preschool lesson plans, with basic addition and subtraction, matching numbers, and the magic of discovery. Throughout the year, our science station provides a variety of interesting learning experiences, from the wonder of visualizing the world through a magnifying glass to the beauty of butterflies and the miracle of magnets.  
All Students have a word wall to develop their sight word recognition along with homework folders.  The second year preschool students are keening in on their Kindergarten preparation and beginning to read and write.  Differentiated instruction utilized to expand on each child's current development level.  Thus, Creative Curriculum is utilized to guide this instruction.

Circle time occurs daily reviewing days of the week, months of the year, seasons, and phonics.  Tuesdays and Thursdays are reserved more for games, crafts, and other extracurricular activities.

Special events include guest speakers for the children, various field trips, and other appropriate activities for each age group (Playground, Animal Park, Magician, Clown and etc.).

Toddler Program  

The Toddler Program is also offered daily.  Our toddler program introduces the same elements as our preschool curriculum, but with offerings like our reading center, block center, and dramatic play center geared specifically to toddlers.

Circle time introduces and expands on ABCs, colors, shapes, and counting.  Walter the Weatherman teaches the toddlers about the weather and appropriate clothes to associate with each season.  Songs and dances are encouraged as well as daily crafts and games.
