Bondings (Fillings)
Silver fillings have been used for years. White
restorations are now a great option. This resin
material is light cured, exceptionally strong, and
more natural looking than silver fillings (amalgam).
As dental products and their technology are changing
rapidly, Dr. Conde-Cavalier and her staff keep up
with advancements in technology and procedure so
that your experience is the best possible.
Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is a popular
cosmetic improvement. Food, drink, and smoking have
an effect on the whiteness of your teeth. Yellowish,
discolored teeth are less attractive and can affect
your smile. Professional whitening systems are more
effective than over the counter choices.
The Take Home System is not like the off-the-shelf
strips available in stores. Impressions are made of
your mouth and a custom tray is built. You are then
educated on how to use the product. You will learn
the best way to maintain your new smile, including
how often you need to touch up the whitening.
The Zoom System uses a U.V. light to whiten your
teeth and is an in-office technique that has been
seen on the “Extreme Makeover” show. It is done in
three consecutive 20-minute sessions. Afterwards,
patients are provided with a home touch-up package.
All considerations to the Zoom System, including a
list of restricted medications, as well as food and
drinks that cannot be eaten for 48 hours after the
treatment, are thoroughly discussed with the patient
before treatment.
Crown & Bridge
A Crown, often called a cap,
is a porcelain or combined porcelain and precious
metal cover that restores a decayed or damaged tooth
to its normal shape and function. A Crown can also
cosmetically change the shape of a tooth.
A Bridge can replace one or
more missing teeth. It consists of one or more
replacement teeth attached to crowns. A Bridge helps
restore the proper position and function of a tooth.
Crowns and Bridges are permanent restorations that
are cemented in place.
Porcelain Laminate
Veneers
Porcelain Veneers are
a restoration that is bonded to your tooth.
A minimal preparation of the tooth is
required. The change to your smile, however,
can be dramatic. A veneer can straightened
misaligned teeth, permanently whiten teeth,
and close spaces between teeth. |

Complete and Partial Dentures
A replacement for missing
teeth that is removable is the partial denture. A
partial denture helps preserve the life of the
remaining teeth.
A complete denture replaces teeth when an individual
has none. Dr. Cavalier offers premium IPN portrait
teeth, which are the most natural looking
alternative. Dr. Cavalier’s office also offers
traditional acrylic dentures , as well as the
Eclipse Denture System (which is made of a composite
material).
Insurance
People are concerned with the
economic investment required to achieve their
esthetic and functional goals. Dr. Cavalier’s staff
offers a variety of options that meet your desired
dental and financial goals. The office will bill all
major insurance on your behalf. Also available is
third-party financing. Discounts are available for
pre-payment options. Dr. Cavalier’s staff will
tailor treatment to meet your dental and financial
needs.
Dr. Conde-Cavalier’s staff is able to bill all
insurance companies. They don’t want patients stuck
with a bill they should not have had to pay, and
always advise patients to call the number listed on
their insurance card to make certain any needed
service is covered. You should note, however that
the balance due is the patient’s responsibility.
