To Whom it may concern:

This is an open letter to all those who take time to investigate the difference between a good dentist and a great dentist. By now, it should be obvious to you that Dr. Cavalier is a great dentist who operates a great office. If it is not obvious, please read on!

I have the privilege of being the first patient at Dr. Cavalier’s new office. I had broken a tooth on the weekend and was traveling later that Monday. She allowed me to come into the new office before it was totally completed and put on a temporary cap so I could travel later that day.

I am at an age where the abuse I have put on my teeth have begun to take their toll. I have repeated the above weekend practice of breaking teeth (twice) and a post (once) on my front tooth. Each time I was to travel that day or the next day. Each time, Dr. Cavalier and her team have squeezed me in immediately and got me on my way with a warm and full smile. She even got me into an oral surgeon on the same day to remove the old post without destroying the roots in my front tooth, while she was able to fix up my old post and cap.

Despite all these problems I have caused in scheduling and emergencies, I am greeted at the front door with a warm smile and a helpful hand.

Dr. Cavalier stands behind her work, always takes the time to explain what she is doing and makes sure that all involved know what to expect. These are little things, but it is the little things that make the difference.

I never thought I would say going to the dentist was a pleasant experience, but thanks to Dr. Maria and her competent caring staff, I am a believer. For several years, I had posts under caps that would break with a normal bite. Besides being frustrating, it was costly to keep having repairs done. Dr. Maria carefully studied my bad habits and was able to design a bridge that could take the stress. Now I can chew anything without a problem and my mouth feels like I have all of my original teeth. Thanks Dr. Maria!
