Port of Call Travel Celebrating 20 Years
Port of Call Travel is celebrating their 20th Anniversary
in 2008. Much has changed since 1988, but what has
remained the same is the personalized service and the
attention to detail that Port of Call Travel provides each
client.
The age of technology was virtually non-existent in 1988.
This new resource has made travelers much more
knowledgeable. What technology cannot replace is the
one-on-one interaction that travelers desire. The
staff of Port of Call Travel listens to the needs and
requests of their clients when assisting them with their
travel plans assuring them a stress-free vacation.
Port of Call Travel and their staff have several
designations that make them unique. Owner, Colleen Peterson,
is a Certified Travel Consultant (CTC). The Travel Institute
presents this designation after several areas of criteria
and experience are met. The agency is also a member of
ASTA (American Society of Travel Agents). Port of Call
Travel is also an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner, an
honor given to only 10% of the agencies in the United
States. The staff has also completed the College of Disney
Knowledge in addition to many other travel courses.
In honor of their 20th anniversary for each tour/cruise
booked with Port of Call Travel a donation will be made to
Make A Wish. Also anyone who books a tour or cruise or
refers a friend will be entered into a yearlong drawing for
some great travel-related prizes. Port of Call owes its
success to the loyalty of their clients and looks forward to

are looking for that special vacation.
