TOM PLAITANO
Attorney Tom Plaitano has been with the firm for eighteen
years. Tom received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1989 from
Ohio Northern University and was admitted to the Bar of
Pennsylvania and the Federal District Court, both in 1989.
Tom has been a member of the Westmoreland Bar Association,
the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers' Compensation Law
Section and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. Tom
has also been active in his local community through the
Pittsburgh Emergency Medicine Foundation, D.A.R.E. (Drug
Abuse Resistance Education) and Reality Tour, a Teen Drug
Prevention Program.
BOB BLUM
Attorney Bob Blum has been practicing law for over
thirty-three years. Prior to practicing in Pennsylvania, he
practiced in Nice, France and Washington, D.C. Bob received
his Juris Doctorate degree in 1974 from Duquesne University
and was admitted to the Bar of Pennsylvania in 1975. He was
nominated and selected to be a member of the Westmoreland
Academy of Trial Lawyers and was chosen to be in Who's Who
of American Lawyers. Bob has also been a member of the
Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Westmoreland Bar
Association, the Bar of the District of Columbia, the
Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the
American Association for Justice (American Trial Lawyers
Association). Bob has been quite active in community
affairs, particularly through his association with the Mt.
Pleasant Rotary Club, as well as Rotary International. Bob
has also been active in his local community through service
on the Executive Committee for the Boy Scouts of
Westmoreland/Fayette County, the Frick Hospital Foundation
Board and Board of the Laurel Mountain YMCA.
CHRIS VALLANO
Attorney Chris Vallano joined the firm in 1998. Chris
received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1997 from the
University of Pittsburgh School of Law and was admitted to
the Bar of Pennsylvania in 1998 and the U.S. District Court
of Western Pennsylvania in 2006. Chris has been a member of
the Westmoreland County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania
Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers
Association. Chris is also active in his local community
through his association with the Rotary Club of Westmoreland
and the Sons of Italy Club.
