Directions
From Route 30, turn onto Donohoe Road at the light for
Westmoreland Mall near Greensburg. (This is a right turn if
heading West and a left turn when traveling East.) After
turning from the highway, turn right to stay with Donohoe
Road (passing the Toys-R-Us on your left). Continue straight
through a traffic light and look for Donohoe Center on your
right. Turn into the Donohoe Center to park. The Ann Rudd
Saxman Nature Park is located on your right, between the
Donohoe Center and the Westmoreland County Department of
Public Works.
Overview
Over 10 wooded acres following a self-guided trail,
providing nature study opportunities. Ann Rudd Saxman Nature
Park offers a chance to escape from the hustle and bustle of
daily life while observing many of the distinctive species
of vegetation and wildlife which make Westmoreland County
home.
Please stay on established trails, and avoid picking
wildflowers or disturbing the fragile vegetation and
wildlife.
A master gardener and pioneering conservationist, botanist,
and landscape designer, Ann Rudd Saxman was a driving force
in the formation of Nature Park, Westmoreland Countys first
park in 1960. In 1996 the park was rededicated in her honor.

Facilities
No pets are allowed in the park. No rest room facilities
are available.
